Instagram Video to MP3

Pull the sound out of a public Reel or video post and save it as an MP3 that plays anywhere.

Works with public posts only. Download videos you made, have permission to use, or want to keep for personal viewing — and credit the creator if you share. See our terms and copyright policy.

Instagram to MP3 in 3 steps

  1. Copy the Reel or post link (paper-plane icon → Copy link).
  2. Paste it into the box above. MP3 audio is already selected on this page.
  3. Tap Download MP3, then the Download button.

What people use it for

  • Voice-overs and tutorials — listen to a cooking or workout Reel like a podcast, without the screen on.
  • Your own audio — get back the voice track or original sound you recorded for a Reel.
  • Language practice — save a short clip of native speech to replay.
  • Ringtones and notification sounds — trim the MP3 in GarageBand or any audio editor.

Quality, honestly

The MP3 is made from the audio Instagram stores, which is compressed AAC — usually around 128 kbps or less. We convert it to a 192 kbps MP3, which keeps everything that's there. No converter can make it sound better than Instagram's copy; anyone advertising "320 kbps Instagram MP3" is just making the file bigger.

When there's no audio

If you see "This video has no sound", the Reel was posted silent or with the original audio removed. If the Reel plays sound in the app but the download is silent, tell us at hello [at] instagramvideodownloadwithoutwatermaker.com with the link and we'll look into it.

Want the video too?

Switch back to MP4 video (HD), or use the main downloader — you'll get the clip with sound in one file.

FAQ

What bitrate is the MP3?

192 kbps. Instagram stores Reel audio as AAC at roughly 128 kbps or lower, so a higher MP3 bitrate would only make the file bigger without making it sound better.

Why does it say the video has no sound?

Some Reels really are silent, or the creator muted the original audio. There's nothing to convert in that case; choose MP4 video instead if you want the clip.

Can I use the song in my own Reel?

Inside Instagram, use the Use audio button under the Reel instead — that's licensed. Downloading a commercial song as an MP3 doesn't give you the right to reuse it elsewhere.
